A vehicle is a huge investment, and I try my best (most of the time) to take care of it. That being said it is a rather expensive venture to get a vehicle washed and detailed inside and out. So I do the best I can on my own. A pressure washer on the outside and for the mats. A carpet cleaner for the seats but the key to having a nice smelling and nice looking interior is having the right type of vinyl protectant.

Mother’s Vinyl protectant not only sticks around longer than any other product i have tested, and gives the vinyl a nice new, soft like new feel, it also smells like strawberries. And who doesn’t love the smell of strawberries.

I was first turned onto this product by my brother in law who is a mechanic and races mud boggers. So he knew a thing or two about protecting investments. When I moved across the country to start work in the oil patch. I bought a small ford ranger from a guy who had not cleaned it in many years. I got a good deal on it but it needed hours of a cleaning. When we were done if nothing else the interior vinyl, looked an felt just like new.

A little goes a long way. I find a small spray or two into a rag and then apply it to the vinyl works better than spraying it on and spreading it out. Because if you get it on your windshield you will have to give it a good cleaning afterwards as well.
