I used to spend a lot of time one Reddit, if you aren’t familiar with what it is, that’s OK but they call themselves the front page of the internet. Two communities I spent a lot of time in were, the Buy It For Life Subreddit. Where they would recommend products worth spending your money on. Two of which have become products I recommend, the EZ-DUZ-IT can opener, and the DARN TOUGH SOCKS.
The other community was called power washing porn, despite its weird name they showcased some incredible work, by landscapers and handymen alike. The best part was watching before and after videos of guys using Surface Cleaner attachments with their pressure washers.
For years I assumed surface cleaners were industrial products that were super expensive and not worth the investment, however last spring I came across the Karcher 15″ Surface cleaner on Amazon and thought what the hell.
It usually runs in the $50 dollar range and literally pays for itself on the first use. If you already have a pressure washer that is. I did of course. I had a generic Walmart gas powered washer my kids got me for Fathers day four years prior and it did the job fine. Until the handle finally rusted through.
I love using my pressure washer, but a question for you, have you ever tried to washer a walkway or driveway with it. Its OK to just clean loose dirt and debris but if you want to get that like new look, with a standard pressure washer wand it literally takes forever and is nearly impossible to get a fresh look without washing lines. The Karcher Surface Cleaner, takes the guess work out of it, decreases your time but at least half, and finally it is so damn satisfying to see it in action and the progress you make.
The Karcher is the type of product you will pay for and make money off of on your first job, but is also affordable enough you can get it just for you and around home. Plus the plastic its made out of is rather durable and should last many years for the small up front investment.
