I am definitely in the minority when it comes to painting, as I am one of those strange people who not only enjoys it but also finds it relaxing. Even though I find it calming, It is still important for me to improve the quality of my finished product. There are two ways to improve that product. The first is through practice, as in getting better at the skill of painting. The second is by upgrading your gear, which allows you to more easily paint at a top quality level.
Not just upgrading for the sake of spending money, although you may need to test a few things that you dislike in order to find those items that help you be a better painter. Just ask me.
On of the biggest yet least expensive areas of upgrade I found that helped me paint better was in the HANDY PAINT PAIL. I used to use the one gallon bucket. I would carry it by the wire handle, or use my big left paw and hold it underneath. Neither were comfortable, conducive to proper pairing, or helped me keep a clean work area.
So I went on a bit of an exploration, I tried a Tupperware container, and a plastic coffee can but neither fit the bill. One day I came across the HANDY PAINT PAIL and started using it and haven’t looked back since.
Why do I like it? First the handle is adjustable, so you can make it as tight or loose as you want, which helps hand fatigue. Second you can put as little or as much paint in it as you want. It has an edge at the top that allows you to brush off excess paint and not have it spill on the floor. It has a magnet at the top ring that holds your brush up and out of the paint. Finally you can get disposable liners making clean up even easier. This HANDY PAINT PAIL has allowed me to be a cleaner and hence better painter for not much investment at all.
