I consistently do a song an dance when I use spray foam. That is I need to find somewhere in need of extra insulation. If I have a window installed, guaranteed I will need just over one can. If I have a dryer vent to install I will use just half a can. In the past I would run around and try to find somewhere else to apply it, or over apply it on purpose and them trim and throw away the excess.
More often than not though I just wouldn’t use the full can and throw away a perfectly good unfinished product. So the day I was walking through the local hardware store and came across the DAP foam with REUSABLE in large letters I was intrigued.
