Gorilla Glue has been around since the mid 90’s. So relatively new when you look at its competition. I’m not exactly sure when it was introduced to Canada but i became aware of it in the mid 2000’s. We used to have a salesman for the product that would come around our store and brag the hell out of it. We called him one evening when a customer was looking for something to glue their side mirror back on. The salesman said it would work as long as they could support it over night. And he was right it did work.
Ever since then Gorilla glue has been my go to adhesive when my only concern is keeping it in place permanently. I used it for coffee mugs, precious moment figures and a host of other items. It has never let me down. The cured product is yellow and it expands a bit so keep that in mind when using it. If you need something clear they have Gorilla Super Glue as well.
